PhD Students
TU/e believes in supporting doctoral candidates who want to start a business of their own or are seriously considering it as an option. One of the ways it does this is through its participation in the Brabant Center of Entrepreneurship, whose stated objective is to provide the best possible assistance in preparing both students and staff for entrepreneurship. Since most regular study programs pay little attention to the specific kinds of knowledge and skills needed in the area of entrepreneurship, the university works closely with BCE to set up a wide range of courses and facilities. For PhD students, BCE has the PROOF program, through which it offers a number of entrepreneurial workshops.
