Brabant Center of Entrepreneurship

On june 21st over 80 PDEng-students of the Stan Ackermans Institute were present in the Black Box to attend a lecture on personal branding. This lecture was organized by BCE. Guestspeaker was Dana Redford, Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Porto and the University of Lisbon.

The workshop with the inspiring title "Personal Marketing for Self-Directed and Entrepreneurial Careers" had an interactive character. The aim was to stress the importance of personal branding because the most brilliant mind in the field or the best technology in the world will not be known without the skills of communication. The students were very enthousiastic and participated actively in the discussions. The drink afterwards offered the opportunity to bring things learned into practise.
