The CTE program helps students to improve their entrepreneurial skills and is free for all master, PD-Eng and PHD students. The certificate is awarded jointly by the Department of Industrial Engineering & Innovation Sciences (IE&IS) and the TU/e Innovation Lab. The program is supported by the Brabant Center of Entrepreneurship. Program managers of the CTE program are Dr. Myriam Cloodt (content) and Ivo George (organization).
The certificate program starts twice a year and has three components:
1. Courses
Total of 9 ECTS (credits) from a Basic Entrepreneurship Course and two electives selected from a list of entrepreneurial courses (see our website); To subscribe to the courses go to StudyWeb. The courses can also be attended by non CTE students.
2. Skills training sessions and assessment
Within the CTE program the BCE organizes 10 skills training sessions together with the student service center. Each student will follow a minimum of 6 sessions recommended on the basis of a personal assessment.
3. Final Project
The most important part of the CTE program is the Final Project. This final project is all about setting up a business. The business plan ideas are taken from research being done at the TU/e or business ideas presented by the students themselves. Within this program you will get the support of a coach from the BCE. We also offer you some specialized master classes.
We invite you to attend the information meeting about the CTE program on February 15th from 15.45 until 16.30 in the Pavilion (pav) room A 01. You can register for this meeting by sending an e-mail to Ivo George.
