A strong research basis is indispensable for the education of entrepreneurship. The Brabant Center of Entrepreneurship motivates and initiates both applied and fundamental research in the field of business.
Research within the BCE focuses on aspects like:

- Strategy and entrepreneurship
- Entrepreneurial finance, corporate entrepreneurship
- University spin-offs
- Corporate venturing
- Entrepreneurial risk-taking

The research is embedded in the CentER (UvT) research school and BETA (TU/e)
